Commander format
Commander is a 100-card singleton multiplayer format led by a commander. The bracket system is a pregame conversation tool, not a tournament pairing engine.
Theme-first and very casual. No Game Changers, intentional two-card combos, mass land denial, or extra-turn cards.
Average modern precon power. No Game Changers, intentional two-card combos, or mass land denial.
Stronger than precons. Up to three Game Changers, no mass land denial, and no early intentional two-card combos.
High-power Commander with strong tutors, fast combos, mass land destruction, or many Game Changers.
Competitive Commander: optimized to win efficiently against other tuned decks.
Bracket descriptions follow Wizards' Commander Brackets beta guidance.

Ruleset
Commander is for fun. It is a socially interactive, multiplayer Magic: the Gathering format full of wild interactions and epic plays, specifically designed as an alternative to tournament Magic. Commander focuses on a resonant experience: a shared journey, a social contract, and the chance for every player to express themselves through deck building and gameplay.
The official Commander ban list applies. Cards listed there cannot be played in this group.
